When Phoenix Glass replaces a windshield, we do our best to use the same adhesive the manufacturer did when they built the vehicle and along with industry approved installation procedures. Betaseal/Essex adhesives are used to install windshields on nearly every domestic vehicle and two thirds of all vehicles manufactured worldwide to help restore a vehicle to its original strength and retain a windshield during a crash. Not all adhesives have the strength required to allow the vehicle safety systems to perform correctly. To assure that the windshield is replaced properly it's absolutely imperative that the correct adhesives as well as adhesive primers are used.
