Materials you can stake your life on!               When Phoenix Glass replaces a windshield, we do our best to use the same adhesive the manufacturer did when they built the vehicle and along with industry approved installation procedures.   Betaseal/Essex adhesives are used to install windshields on nearly every domestic vehicle and two thirds of all vehicles manufactured worldwide to help restore a vehicle to its original strength and retain a windshield during a crash.   Not all adhesives have the strength required to allow the vehicle safety systems to perform correctly.   To assure that the windshield is replaced properly it's absolutely imperative that the correct adhesives as well as adhesive primers are used.

> Adhesive Systems Approximately 35 million OEM installations annually BETASEAL adhesives restore windshield structures to their original strength. BETASEAL adhesives are used to install auto glass in 70 percent of all new vehicles worldwide — over 27 million factory installations per year. In North America, BETASEAL adhesives are used in 98 percent of all vehicle production. Safety BETASEAL urethane adhesives pass all specified performance standards for all makes and models of vehicles. We conduct laboratory, impact, sled and crash tests to verify adhesion to paint and frit combinations for all domestic and most foreign makes and models of vehicles. Collaboration with major vehicle manufacturers worldwide, universities and suppliers ensures all products exceed requirements. Consistency Dow Automotive offers the same Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) approved, tested and used products for aftermarket replacements. The use of OEM parts ensures restoration to original condition, compliance with the law and, according to a two-year automobile owner survey conducted by the Chubb Group, is preferred by 82 percent of vehicle owners. Durability Dow Automotive replacement products pass all OEM standards and withstand long-term weather exposure to all climates. Our products are exposure tested to heat, cold and salt. Not all brands meet even the minimum 10-year durability most OEMs require. Dependability Customers depend on Dow Automotive to deliver fresh products every time. BETACLEAN™ cleaners from Dow Automotive provide advanced surface preparation and are a vital part of the adhesive repair process for direct glazing, as well as sealing and bonding of body panel repairs. Additionally, BETACLEAN can be used to remove excess uncured adhesives from a variety of finished and unfinished surfaces. BETAPRIME™ primers from Dow Automotive come in a variety of formulations with optimum benefits for specific applications BETASEAL™ urethane adhesives are used to originally install windshields in nearly all domestic autos and two thirds of all vehicles manufactured worldwide. All Aftermarket BETASEAL adhesives are FMVSS crash proven and meet long-term durability requirements for structurally bonded/direct glazed automotive glass, such as windshields, backlites, quarter glass and other stationary glass. They also are used for attaching hardware to glass and backfilling to install reveal moldings or other trim. All products are compatible with every BETASEAL™ adhesive system. Dow Automotive provides the specific products that do a better job.  Each product is designed especially for aftermarket replacements and help the technician improve all aspects of cleaning, application and cleanup.
